The Galley Girls are an all-women's dragon boat crew that competes in several events throughout Ontario and Quebec.

Our dynamic crew is made up of 25 women of all ages who are committed to active living and increasing the sport of dragon boating. We are out to have fun, while working hard to improve and win. We train on the beautiful Rideau River at the Rideau Canoe Club in Ottawa.

Being a community-oriented team, we not only thrive on the excitement and competition of dragon boat racing, but also take great pride and satisfaction knowing that we are helping those in need in our community through the charitable fundraising identified in the festivals in which we participate.
